Field Commanders™ Product Information

Field Commanders™ field service management software is a “run your
business” software that allows your service business to efficiently schedule jobs
and estimates, dispatch technicians, digitally track and store invoices and work
orders, enhance your customer communication, and streamline your business
operation.

Key Features

Dashboard

Dashboard is provided to enable the customer service agent or manager to view all outstanding work orders, estimates, invoices, and more. There is also a persistent side menu that enables viewing and selection of these details and information about employees, technician locations, and reports.

Automated Scheduling

Automated Scheduling enables the customer service agent to schedule a technician automatically via our AI-based scheduler, or to manually schedule a technician. Technician capabilities and his/her current schedule plus availability (hours of the day, days of the week, etc.) are stored on the system and used to automatically schedule technicians or allow the agent to manually schedule.

Dispatch

Dispatch consists of the system posting a notification to the field technician about a pending work order with details to be shown in the phone app.

Work Order

Work Order details are shown both in the portal and the phone app. Information includes work order date and time, whether an estimate is required, customer name, address, phone number, type of work, estimated time and cost if it’s a standard job.

Mobile Forms

Mobile Forms allow for the electronic capture and storage of estimates, invoices, and jobsite notes.

Invoicing

Invoicing is the ability for technicians to send out invoices on the job or customer service agents to do so from the office.  If the company has QuickBooks® installed, it can be easily integrated with Field Commanders and used for invoicing instead of coming directly from the Field Commanders system

Estimates

Estimates are handled the same way. Jobsite pictures can be taken by the technician as well as customer signature capture.

Customer Communications

Customer Communications consists of SMS (text) messages or emails, either from the field technician or customer service agent. SMS messages are used for appointment confirmation and email is used for sending out estimates or invoices. Both methods can be used for other customer communications.

Technician Location

Technician Location is the ability for the back office to determine where the various field agents are currently located. In addition, the location is used to create a route for the technician to the next customer from his/her current location.
