Release Notes – R1.05.09prod
Previous release notes mentioned the next big portal feature was “PriceBook”.. Price book is handling a company’s preset pricing for Inventory and Services. Quickbooks calls this “products and services”
This release affects two areas of portal-admin and main portal.
ADMIN
We currently have a QuickBooks integration for import/export of customers and journal entries from invoices. Now we have import/export from Quickbooks the clients pricebook they have in Quickbooks for their “product and services”.
Below is a screenshot from the “Settings” tab Integration of Quickbooks.
In the Admin panel, using the “Pricebook” tab, you can see and manage your Pricebook. These will populate with the “product and services” imported from Quickbooks. Additionally, quantity on hand,for Inventory items, will update as invoices are created using Inventory items.
same panel, we are able to create new inventory/service item entries- these are the same fields clients will use in Quickbooks UI>. When exporting this new item, it will Sync into Quickbooks similar to how we handle new customers created inside the application.
PORTAL
In the portal Pricebook will show up in Estimate/Job/Invoice line items.This will allow employees to chose either a Inventory or Service item, then item type will be searchable or allow inputting an “adhoc” item.
We will have our monthly Mobile environment release next week. The October release will include “PriceBook” support in the apps.
The next large implementation will be in app handling of payments (Credit Cards,Debit Cards, Checks etc)Timeline for this is 4-6 weeks.
